STORAGESERVER
The STORAGESERVER is a mass storage device for the recording
and playback of streaming media files for Video on Demand
applications and, in conjunction with the ElORM
(Endless-Loop-Recording-Mode) procedure, simultaneously provides the
remote recording of streaming media content. The STORAGESERVER is
available with severall capacities.. All hard disks are built into
change-frames which are hot-swap capable.

The
STORAGESERVER can be completely configured remotely and is administered by
a special data management software. In combination with the 'CYBER MEDIA
SERVER' and the 'MULTISTREAMERS' complete web-cast systems can be created.
The STORAGESERVER can be ideally utilized for recording and
playback in the ELORM procedure developed by artec technologies, enabling
the timeshifted playback of live events
XENTAURIX Technology With the control and management
platform 'XENTAURIX' complex streaming media systems can be operated.
Especially for the CVOD (Continuous Video on Demand) technology developed
by artec technologies.
XENTAURIX administers the SINGLE- and
MULTISTREAMER, the CYBER MEDIA- and STORAGESERVER belonging to the
Streaming Media System. Windows Media Streams can be centrally stored,
administered and immediately be made available as 'Continuous Video on
Demand' Therefore it is possible to offer every user a time shifted
playback while the live event is taking place.
